Capital Gutters was founded in 1985 by Richard Contreras in Oyster Bay, Long Island. The business ran on one rule from day one: be honest and upfront with every customer. Richard passed that rule down to his sons, who brought the company upstate and have run it as a family operation ever since.
More than 40 years later, that same family still runs Capital Gutters and still holds itself to the same standard.

Commercial-grade seamless gutters formed on-site
Every gutter we install is formed from .032-gauge aluminum coil, cut to the exact length your roofline needs and seamless from end to end. Most gutters sold at home improvement stores are .019-gauge, roughly 1.7 times thinner than ours. That extra thickness is the difference between a system that handles a New York winter and one that needs repair by spring.
Hidden hangers on every installation
We never use spike-and-ferrule hangers. Spikes work loose from the fascia board after a winter or two, the gutter sags, water pools, and the section eventually pulls away from the house. Hidden hangers fasten to the fascia with screws and keep the gutter locked to the roofline for the life of the system.
Lifetime warranty on installation
If something we installed fails, we fix it. That warranty does not expire and is not limited to the first owner of the home.
Lifetime warranty on gutter covers
Every gutter cover we install carries its own separate lifetime warranty covering both the product and the labor. Many installers only warranty the product. Ours covers the installation too.
This is not a franchise or a national chain with local crews. It is the same family that started in 1985, still doing the work.
